Introduction

FAIRFOX is a FAIR, Open and eXtensible system for data processing, based on the following three main layers:

FX: a Functional and eXtensible programming language.
OM: the Open Middleware, inside which data is stored, queried, and which acts as a bus in between programs.
XIS: the eXtensible Interactive Subsystem, by means of which users can interact with the system.
